Dear Bobby,

You were no rockstar,
nor a famous politician

You were in every inch a gentleman,
and the kindest man I ever met

You adored football, that was your game,
and football adored you in every way

You lost the fight,
but won everyone’s heart

London, West Bromwich, Ipswich, Vancouver, Eindhoven, Lisbon, Porto, Barcelona and
Newcastle are in mourning.

And so is the rest of the world.

Your foundation lives on,
and we will never forget you.

Rest in peace, dearest Sir Bobby Robson.
